Congratulations to Janice on Her Apprenticeship Success

We are delighted to celebrate the achievement of our colleague Janice Getten, who has successfully completed her Funeral Team Member Level 2 Apprenticeship, achieving a distinction.

For Janice, the apprenticeship has been a truly life-changing experience, both personally and professionally. Throughout the programme, she developed a deeper understanding of the funeral profession and strengthened her communication skills, while gaining valuable insight into working with people from a wide range of backgrounds — something she believes is essential in any role.

One of the most significant outcomes has been the confidence she has gained. Janice has learned to recognise her strengths, identify areas for development, and navigate a variety of situations with empathy and professionalism. The experience has also broadened her perspective, helping her approach her work with even greater understanding — benefiting both the families she supports and her colleagues.

Inspired by her journey, Janice is now looking ahead to further opportunities and continuing her career development. She also highlights the self-awareness she gained during the apprenticeship as invaluable in shaping her growth.

Reflecting on her experience, Janice describes undertaking the apprenticeship as one of the best decisions she has ever made, crediting it with transforming her outlook and ambitions.

We are incredibly proud of Janice and everything she has achieved — a fantastic accomplishment and a wonderful example of the dedication within our team.
