At Christmas, the team at Steven Mears, Sydenham branch were proud to donate whole chickens, carrots, potatoes, sprouts, and parsnips to the New Horizons Centre, helping to provide festive meals for eight families in need.
Funeral Arranger Janice Getten also visited a local care home and nearby businesses to personally thank them for the support they had shown throughout the year.
Their appreciation was genuine, serving as a reminder of how strong the team’s community connections had become. As a team, their goal had always been to help wherever possible.
Over the year, they built new relationships with several fantastic local businesses, and it felt important to show their gratitude while giving something meaningful back to the community.
